Approved Previous Minutes Dated: 10/16/98 (Unanimous)
Action Items: 1) Request to memorialize the late James Lussiano.
2) Request to memorialize the late Francis M. Donnelly.
3) Recognition of Arlington’s (Nagaokakyo) Sister City in Japan.
Resolutions adopted: 1) The Committee supported the request to name the North Union Field in
Memory of James Lussiano.
2) The Committee supported the request to install a boulder with a bronze
plaque at the intersections of Summer and Forest Street in memory of
Francis M. Donnelly.
3) Recognizing our Sister (Nagaokakyo) City in Japan falls outside the scope
of the Public Memorial Committee. However, we believe that the Board of
Selectmen would have the right to establish a suitable remembrance and we
support their effort to do so.
Vote: The vote was unanimous on resolutions (1;2;3)
