Board of Health Seeks Public Input on Biotechnology Regulations

In conjunction with Arlington’s designation as a BioReady™ Community, the Board of Health is proactively seeking to adopt regulations that allow for community oversight of biotechnology related work. The proposed biotechnology regulations are centered on current National Institutes of Health (NIH) Guidelines. The Board of Health invites residents and businesses to provide input and feedback on the regulations at the Board of Health meeting on Wednesday, February 1, 6:00 p.m., 27 Maple St., ground floor conference room. Written comments may be submitted by email to BOH@town.arlington.ma.us or by mail to the Board of Health, 27 Maple St., Arlington, MA 02476. The draft regulations can be viewed online at arlingtonma.gov/health.
