Mission: The Arlington Food Pantry strives to provide food to every Arlington resident in need with a goal to end hunger in Arlington. The Arlington Food Pantry is entirely volunteer run and entirely financially subsidized by the generosity of donors in Arlington.
About the Pantry:
Since its inception in 1990, the Arlington Food Pantry has distributed food to thousands of Arlington families. Food is distributed twice monthly and food donations are accepted weekly. The Food Pantry is totally subsidized by monetary donations and food donations from the generous residents of Arlington.
While the Food Pantry is overseen by the Town’s Health and Human Services Department, the day-to-day operation of the Food Pantry is done by a very special and dedicated group of volunteers who combined have more than 100 years of volunteer experience with the Food Pantry. These volunteers staff the Food Pantry for the two bi-monthly distributions and for the weekly stocking of shelves.
