MINUTES
A special meeting of the Council on Aging was held April 2, 2003 at 6:45
pm in the Town Hall annex for the purpose of presenting to the Town Finance
Committee the COA’s recommendations for the FY04 budget as it applies to the
COA.
Members Present: Richard Murray, Mary Dodge, Harry McCabe, Mildred Hurd,
Dorothy Nicholas, Mara Klein (arrived 8:10) and Shirley Chapski. Richard
Murray presided.
Others Present: John Jope, COA Executive Director.
Quorum Identification/Call to Order: Richard Murray presided and Shirley
Chapski kept the minutes. A quorum was present.
A discussion of the presentation, which had been prepared and distributed
by John Jope, was discussed. At 7:30 pm the council recessed to present the
recommendations to the Finance Committee. At 7:50 pm Richard Murray made the
COA’s budget presentation to the Finance Committee and responded to all
questions put forth by said committee.
At 8:45 the board departed the Finance Committee’s conference room.
Next, it was moved, seconded and voted to adjourn.
