TOWN OF ARLINGTON, MASSACHUSETTS: NOTICE OF MEETING

In accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws,
Chapter 39, Section 23B, notice is hereby given of:

The Council on Aging scheduled monthly meeting on  Thursday, December 14, 2006 at 7:30 PM
at the Senior Center, first floor, 27 Maple Street, Arlington, MA 02476
        
These meetings are open to the public and all are welcome.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Council on Aging (COA) is to provide advocacy and support services to help Arlington elders live dignified and independent lives.

The Council’s primary responsibilities are to design, promote, and implement services to address the identified needs of the community’s elder population, and to coordinate existing services in the community. The COA works in concert with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and with public and private agencies and providers in the area.

COUNCIL MEMBERS:  IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND THIS OR ANY OTHER SCHEDULED MEETING, PLEASE CALL JOHN (781-316-3401) TO LET HIM KNOW.  JOHN WILL THEN CALL THOSE WHO DO PLAN TO PARTICIPATE, IN THE EVENT WE ARE UNABLE TO RAISE A QUORUM.
