Our Vision: We envision an Arlington community that actively supports and engages in substance abuse prevention. To that end, the community will work together to foster a safe and resource-rich environment in which youth are valued and engage in healthy behaviors as a preferred choice.
Our Mission: Our mission is to engage, inform and empower our community to prevent and reduce substance abuse and other risk behaviors that adversely affect Arlington youth.
Who We Are: The Arlington Youth Health and Safety Coalition (AYHSC) is a group of concerned community members, organizations and public agencies, and representatives from local and state government united in their goal of preventing and reducing underage drinking and substance abuse in Arlington. To this end, AYHSC employs multiple strategies to influence positive, community-wide change.
