The Mass Highway Department (MHD) has completed the majority of the roadway construction on Summer Street. The Town DPW has forwarded to the MHD a list of eight small construction items that have yet to be completed.
During this project the Arlington DPW, acting as ombudsman between Arlington residents and MHD, have resolved 128 abutter concerns. A handful of yard restorations issues remain; including three small lawn reseedings, one hand rail placement, removal of a centerline painted on Rockaway Lane, and three locations where pedestrian lights or traffic lights that shine in abutters windows. We hope to reach resolutions on all of these issues in November.
